Abstract: Since e-learning has become a trend in the Covid-19 pandemic period in Indonesia, Indonesia
Open University has found at least 4000 new competitors in the country, grown for four months.
To survive sustainably as a pioneer in distance learning in Indonesia, Open University needs to
identify one source of organizational strength to deal with change and competition: the
organization's internal source, namely the organizational commitment. This study aims to
investigates the effect of organizational culture, emotional intelligence and job satisfaction on
Indonesia Open University lecturers' organizational commitment. The study involved 130 lecturers
working in the head office and supporting units operating throughout Indonesia. The findings show
that organizational culture, emotional intelligence, and job satisfaction are positively and
significantly related to organizational commitment. This research also becomes empirical evidence
that organizational commitment can improve by strengthening organizational culture, emotional
intelligence, and job satisfaction among Open University lecturers.
