EFFECT OF NON-MONETARY INCENTIVES ON ENHANCING EMPLOYEES’ PERFORMANCE IN TANZANIA FOREST SERVICES

Abstract:
The study examined the effect of training and employee performance in Tanzania forest services. The research methodology used in the study was positivist. The quantitative technique was employed. The study used an explanatory research design. 60 respondents were drawn using stratified sampling from 84 populations from TFS headquarters. Structured questionnaires were used to collect data. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics Pearson moment correlation and linear multiple regression were used. The study found that training is positive and significantly related to TFS employee’s performance. The study recommends that TFS should continue to allocate resources and prioritize investment in comprehensive training programs; Regular training opportunities should be provided to employees at all levels to enhance their skills, knowledge, and competencies relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
