Abstract:
This study examines the impact of work environment, psychological capital, and job crafting on employee performance, with employee engagement serving as a mediator. The research was conducted at the Tax Office of Aceh Besar district, focusing on the population of State Civil Apparatus (ASN), totaling 113 individuals, from which the entire population was sampled. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was utilized for data analysis through AMOS. The findings reveal that the work environment, psychological capital, and job crafting significantly influence both employee engagement and performance at the Aceh Besar Tax Office. Additionally, employee engagement markedly affects employee performance in this setting. The study also illustrates that work environment, psychological capital, and job crafting impact employee performance directly and indirectly through employee engagement, highlighting the role of employee engagement as a partial mediator in this model.
